Don’t miss the new Flash8 Easing Control!!!
I’ve been working on the new Actionscript so much that I forgot to try out the new features for Flash animation. And here it is: The new Easing panel!

I find it very useful, as I can create complex animations with only 2 keyframes! You would need to create several keyframes for the above animation if you are using previous versions of Flash.
You can set the position, color, filter, scale and rotation of the MC to change accordingly to the curve in the panel. As you can see in the above e.g., the Glow filter, rotation and position of the circle change accordingly.
I think this feature is great and can add lots of effects to animations. We can make complex animations simply by altering the curve. However bear in mind that this panel only appears in Flash 8 Pro.
